Preview & Sample Data
Every state in GeoData has a free preview. Before purchasing, you can explore 10 fully-visible sample rows with complete contact information, see every business name in the state, and view aggregate statistics and an interactive map.
Previews are accessed through your Dashboard, not the Data Shop. Log in, go to All States in the sidebar, and click any unpurchased state to open it in preview mode.

How Previews Work
From your dashboard, click All States in the sidebar. You'll see all 51 states -- purchased states have full access, and unpurchased states are shown with a dashed border. Click any unpurchased state to open the data explorer in preview mode:
- 10 sample rows -- real records highlighted in green with every field visible (name, email, phone, Instagram, website, category, address, and more)
- All business names -- the rest of the rows show names only; contact details are locked until you purchase
- Aggregate stats and map -- total counts, category breakdowns, contact coverage, and an interactive map of all locations
What's in the Sample Rows
Each sample row is a real business record with every field visible:
- Name, brand, and category
- Address, city, state, and zip code
- Latitude and longitude
- Email, phone, Instagram, website, and Facebook
- Market/DMA name, county FIPS, and census tract
- Location count, operating status, and extraction date
Downloading Samples
Click the Download Sample button on any state's preview page to get a CSV of the sample rows.
You can download samples from as many states as you want.
Purchasing from the Preview
You don't need to leave the preview to buy. A banner at the top of every preview page in the dashboard shows the price and lets you add the state to your cart directly. Once purchased, the same page unlocks all contact data, full downloads, and advanced filtering -- no navigation required.
Note: the Data Shop at /data-shop shows state overview pages with category breakdowns, pricing, and an Add to Cart button -- but it does not show sample data rows. To see sample rows, use the dashboard preview described above.
