Data Shop
The Data Shop is where you browse, explore, and purchase business location data. It's organized by state -- click any state to explore its data on an interactive map, or add it directly to your cart.
Browsing States
The Data Shop shows a grid of cards for all 51 U.S. areas (50 states plus Washington D.C.). Each card shows:
- A map outline of the state
- The state name and total location count
- The price (adjusts dynamically based on volume discounts)
- An "Add to Cart" button
Search by state name or abbreviation using the search bar, and sort the grid by location count or alphabetically. When you have states in your cart, a volume discount banner shows your current pricing tier and how many more states unlock the next level.

Clicking a state card opens it in the Market Finder -- a full-screen interactive map where you can explore every business location in that state before buying.
Market Finder
The Market Finder is GeoData's interactive map explorer. It loads every business in a state as an individual dot on a full-screen map, color-coded by category:
- Green -- Restaurants
- Blue -- Cafes
- Orange -- Bars
Data preview -- explore real POI locations and coverage stats before purchasing
Zoom, pan, and explore the entire state. Hover over any dot to see the business category, city, and which contact fields are available.
Category Filters
Toggle categories and subcategories on and off using the filter panel. Want to see only Cocktail Bars? Uncheck everything else. Comparing Coffee Shops vs. Pizza Restaurants? Toggle between them.
State Overview
From the Market Finder, click "View full overview" to see the state's detail page with a full category breakdown, contact coverage stats, an expandable subcategory table with exact counts, and an Add to Cart button.

Purchasing
There are a few ways to add a state to your cart:
- From the Data Shop grid -- click "Add to Cart" on any state card
- From a state's overview page -- click the Add to Cart button
- From the data explorer (logged in) -- when you open an unpurchased state, a banner at the top lets you add it to your cart with the price shown
Once states are in your cart, proceed to checkout to complete the purchase.
