Hey, I'm Jon

My whole career has been about location data—it's kind of my thing.

I got my MSc in Local Economic Development from LSE, where I really dove into how location data can help us understand economies and make better decisions. It was fascinating stuff.

Since then, I've started a few other companies, all centered around location data in one way or another. Each one taught me something new about what makes location data useful—and what makes it accessible.

For example, a company of mine used satellite imagery to measure global economic growth over the last 20 years on a global scale for the McKinsey Global Institute's Pixels of Progress project. This groundbreaking work won numerous data awards and showed what's possible when you combine location data with the right approach. If you're curious, you can check it out here .

GeoData's goal is simple: make great location data accessible to everyone, without the usual barriers that get in the way. We use AI processing to extract and enrich location data at scale, making it more accurate and useful than traditional methods.
